A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
I LOVE to travel. As the daughter of naval parents, I moved a lot, going to thirteen different schools in twelve years. It only made me want to see more. I feel so fortunate to have explored ancient Rome, German castles, France’s battlefields, London’s history, Alaskan Mountains, the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona, the Florida Everglades and the lights of Broadway. These are just a few of the places I have visited.
I am married to children’s book author, Michael Shoulders. We co-wrote “D is for Drum, A Native American Alphabet,” “G is for Gladiator, An Ancient Rome Alphabet,” “T is for Titanic, A Titanic Alphabet, ” and “M is for Money, an Economics.” We have three children, Jason - an engineer, Ryan - a security coder, and Meghann - a High School Theater teacher. I also have four grandchildren (a boy and three girls) and one very needy furbaby. I am retired from 31 years of teaching middle school English and Gifted Ed. I am using this time to become a better writer.
My favorites things to do when I am not working is to read, watch movies, and travel! I am also an avid Disney Dreamlight Valley player.
